Default Power window problem

so I have had this power window problem for about 3 weeks now and I still do not know what the problem is. I used the manual and I checked the fuses which are ok, and so is the relay. I bought a new master switch and still nothing. BOTH of my windows stopped working randomly. the manual then says to check the control unit input? where is that located and what does it do? I read a couple of forums and some people had the same problem and usually it was the multiplex unit? my power locks also started acting weird. my power mirrors still work .when I hit the power lock to close both doors with the switch only the passenger door locks. before when I would both would lock. not only that but when I would manually lock it from the drivers both would and now it doesn't. what is the problem, help me !!!

Do you have an alarm system on your car? Also the multiplex units since there are 3 of them one of them is on your passenger's side kick panel, one in your driver's side door and one by the driver's side kick panel. Im assuming that if you needed to replace one of them that one in your driver door would be first.

I think he's right about the multiplex in the driver door. Cuz that's the side that controls both windows. The pass side multiplex only controls that side, so I'd rule it out.

The one in the kick panel is a possibility but I remember it not being a control switch but a relay

Yup, they can cause all sorts of issues. Best way to replace it is go find one on a car of the same year in a junkyard, not a common part to fail so it should be there.

If it was a battery problem, he'd have some more significant other symptoms.
