battery is good and so is the starter,when i try to start it i hear a humming sound and one click? its a 97 accord,im thinking the aftermarket alarm may have to do with it

 

Unplug the alarm (probably under the dash, drivers side) and see if it starts. Could be the relay on the starter disable from the alarm. Is this the location you are hearing the humming sound?

 

ya i unplugged it and im hearing the noise from some where in the dash area

 

Is the noise coming from the Left/driver or right/pass side....while you are at it, check the grounds.

What voltage reading do you have at the battery. What is the voltage at the large cable on the starter, both at rest and while trying to start. Then, while trying to start what is the voltage on the small wire at the starter...
