Default p1298 and p0141

i did a automatic to manual swap and i swapped some wire harnesses and now im getting those codes.p0141 says its O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2) and p1298 is electric load detector circut input high.for the tranny swap i changed all the harnesses the engine bay.so today i went back and put the old harness on to see if there was a bad wire or ground.the car is the same.my rpms gauge dont work.no fuses are blown.i took the dash apart again to make sure i didnt let any grounds or wires un plugged.the o2 sensor was brand new before i did the swap so im guessing its not but im getting one off my uncles car to make sure.the next thing i was thinking of doing was changing the eld.can someone please help me with what they think it could be.i want to get my car running for sunday for honday day

.. and now? You make it sound like you recently did this swap. According to your history, you did the swap 9-3-2010. https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-2001-2005-78/em2-auto-manual-swap-wont-get-spark-coils-2830805/

P1298

1. Reset the ECU.

2. Start the engine.

3. Turn the headlights on.

Is DTC P1298 indicated? (again)

Yes - Rather than walk you through the rest of the troubleshooting, just replace the ELD.

No - Intermittent failure. The system is okay, but you should check for poor connections or loose terminals at the ELD and at the ECU.

To be honest, I didn't think you were going to reply.

To check the ELD / Troubleshoot P1298, click this link and follow the DIY steps.

What year is your car?

You could try running a defouler, before you commit to buying a new sensor. It'd be a lot cheaper and may prevent the MIL from coming back on.

I'd also try troubleshooting the cause before replacing the sensor.

Are you going to use an OEM sensor, or rig up an aftermarket one?

my car is a 2002 with the d17

well i was going to try a new sensor cause my uncle has the same car and he has a new 02 sensor and said i could use it to check it.its a oem plug sensor so im not going to rig anything up.i already replaced the wire harness that goes to the 02 sensor and tried a new ecu and it still comes up.
