Default h22 coolant circulation

Hey guys. getting my H2B swap going... stuck with over heating. I cant get the water to circulate properly. I fill the rad and start it... Coolant then backfloods out the top of the rad. If I continue the leave it like that, water will start to boil violently out the rad. The lower hose doesnt get hot. temp gauge goes to normal, but the s300 will climb to 200 degrees, where I shut it down. the interior heater blows cold, rad fan does not come on. I have tried using the bleeder screw on the thermo housing, but only air comes out, sometimes it spits coolant. If I remove the thermostat, the bottom hose does get hot, but still the s300 will continue to climb past 200 degrees, with no interior heat. I did get the rad fan to engage with this method, but only one time. Water pump, rad, and thermostat are new.

Any ideas? Anyone ever experience a clog in the system?

sounds like water is not getting through the thermostat. perhaps its backwards or you have a huge pocket of air right at the thermostat. did you do this swap yourself? did you hook up your heater hoses properly? did you check the cable on the heater valve to see if it slipped off? when you poor radiator fluid into the radiator are you pumping the lower hose?

Could also be a bad head gasket? Does it start to "boil" out of the radiator as soon as you start it? No interior heat sounds like a bad valve on that heater hose or a seriously clogged radiator in the heater.

I've had this problem befor I think the real problem is the t-stat is higher then the rad fill try pulling the up rad hose off and pouring the cool straight in the hose or maybe jacking the front of the car up.

thanks guys. i did eventually get this figured out. I had to bleed the system many times before it started coming around. I think the angle of the h2b is what was giving me trouble, putting the thermostat housing up so high. She is cooling great now and there is plenty heat shooting into the cabin.
