EK Fog lights.
I have some fog lights that I bought awhile back for my truck that I never got to put on before she blew up. Stupid chevy lol. Anyways does fog lights on the civics make a huge difference? Would it be better to wait and get a HID kit for the fogs or just run the fogs.

Without the Fogs.

What it would kinda look like with the fogs. I would have to cut the bumper a little to make them flush into the bumper. Then again I just dont know I think I should get some slimmer ones.
If you like them then put it on. Like they say "To each his own". I think its not bad looking and it'll def look better when you make it flush with the bumper.
EDIT:
If your going to get different ones, just get these:

They are and I want them for my car!... Need to fix rust before I can modify anything though.
Any way Procivic has them. They're just under $115. http://www.procivic.com/pages-produc...843/index.html That's what's up.

The yellow squares posted are OE (or replica) '96-'98 square foglights. They were also available in round clear, round yellow and square clear.
You can find them used for sale on occasion for not too much. I just got lucky with a BNIB set of the clear round OE lights (full set, with harnesses and all) for $266 shipped.

PW:JDM sells Depo kits. A lot of the ones you find on eBay are Depo as well. The Esuse lights are pretty close in build to OE lights, but they've become difficult to find as well.
Oh, and Depo lights tend to leak and have ground issues (this is the kit with the long red wire). One of my Esuse lights broke when it was hit by a rock (presumably) on a long trip. They're similar enough to OE that I could use the parts from the old kit to repair OE lights.

JHPUSA has some jdm fogs for the 96-98 for around 80 bucks just make sure ur careful with em i craked mine they are glass housings but i heard there is some 3m stuff u can put over them that can be found at most tint shops
Meh, close enough.
I scanned all 25 pages of the instructions in all three languages the other day. Lol Might post them later. (DO NOT ASK ME TO POST THEM OR SEND THEM TO YOU.)
Metal housing. Glass lenses.
Btw, they're only JDM style. The $80 ones are just another set of replicas.

I've seen alright results from the depos...it's all about how much you want to put into it...autozone fogs look tacky IMHO...they just look like BAJA lights from a truck thrown into a civic.
Oh, the Depo lights will give decent results as long as they work. They have a driving light pattern instead of a fog light pattern that OE and Esuse lights have. But the Depo lights are prone to leaks and grounding issues within the housing, in my experience and from what I've read of others' kits.
Do you think if you added a little extra sealant and then cooked them they'd seal better? I know nobody wants to do work on something new but I'm just curious. Grounding issues are no bueno though...
As for the grounding issues, I started having them within, I think it was two days of install.
I'd have to kick them to get the one side to light up again.
^ Lmao...not laughing at your expense...laughing at the quality. Hmm...well that sucks. I guess that's one of those hit and miss things...I'd still rock depos over autozones any day.
I already did that too - was going to post it, but where would it go? It's not like we have a 'post your documentation' thread.
