Default accidently gapped piston ring a little too much.

Good afternoon.

I was gapping my Top pistons rings today and the CP piston specs called for .018" gap. However I accidently gapped one top ring to .021" . Do I need to replace the ring and regap it to .018", or can I get away with .021"?
