its an automatic, never had any issues before, did my last tune up, plugs wires cap and rotor like 3 months ago... which at time helped car out alot... just yesterday after i feeled up with gas and drove it home then my girl took it out and said it was shuddering, i drove and was fine but when i was coming to a stop with brake pressure the car was like jerking forward and back, same when i took off, its fine when i start going... although i can no longer punch it cause if i do it bogs down....

i talked to previously owner(brother) asked him bout fuel filter, said he never changed it out, so i went ahead and change out this morning... in neutral it sounds like its swallowing gas like a champ now but when i reversed out and put it in drive to take off... still puttering, shuddering, jerking whatever its called...

any ideas? could spark plugs be toast already from fuel filter bein that old
