i thinking about going turbo just for a little power and gotta love the sound of a bov what should i know ? or what should i do to make it faster and a head turner.

Sadly it's not meant to be fast, unless you are willing to drop quite a bit of money into it. Change the outside to make it a headturner

 

If I remember correctly, you can't turbo an automatic.


If you want to make it fast, swap the engine for a K20 or K24 from a 2004 or newer vehicle. This is going to require a fair amount of money, as you also need to swap the transmission, ECU, and more. If you want a little more pep but don't have much money, put a NOS kit in it.


Making it "look better" is subjective. What you like may not necessarily be what other people are into, so it's best to follow your own path. Flip through the build links and the picture thread for ideas.

Ohhhh, is that what it is? I only remembered something about "automatic" and "not working" combined with George giving away his turbo kit. I assumed it was because he couldn't use it with his automatic.

I don't mind being wrong about things. I expect (hope) to be corrected when I am.

start from a good intake and some lighter wheels

 

i got my intake, exhaust, and 18's which arent the lightest but looks good idk can i convert to vtec or turbo or nos but if i go nos im sure **** will brake

Get a crower stage I street cam. Youll gain more whp with just the cam than you will from a I/H/E combo.

 

It wouldve worked. Its just that I didnt feel like finishing it due to me coming to the conclusion that I didnt want my DD to take premium and have to be constantly maintained Anywho, nice job spreading around good info. I've been lurking around a bit and you've been doing an excellent job

 

Ahhh. I hear that a lot, which is a primary factor for my decision to never turbo my car. I'm still running the ol' D17, but if I were to do any real drive train modifications, I'd have to choose the more-reliable N/A K-route.

ohkay where can i buy a good cam and what if i wanted more acceleration what could i do for that where can i find lips for 2004 civic ? i cant find any
