There was no assumption on my part. I called Paypal, they explained to me that there are a couple of ways it can go.
1. The refunder makes the payment with a minimum wait on it, that can always be retracted.

2. The refunder makes the payment immediately.

Simple as that. So calm down now, and let's move on.

I make all of my payments to Paypal, out of my acct, and only once has it ever been put on hold. That was this last Xmas, and they said it was because it was a security measure for suspicious activity. I guess you're right, you know way more about the intricacies of Paypal, than someone who does it for a living. Why do they even have a call center when there are people like you out here who know all there is to know about everything. Ooohhh ya, you never answer your phone.
