I have a 94 Honda Accord (5th Gen), Manual Transmission, and I'm planning to replace all the engine mounts.

However, I am confused on which engine mount is really for the front of the engine.

My engine is a PH22 (Philippine Engine Code for the F22B1 VTEC Engine),

and the current engine mount for the front side of the engine is this:

However, the only part available here in this country is this:

But according to that site, the specified part is for the Rear Of Engine side, which is absurd since the real rear engine mount is this:

I've visually confirmed and checked this myself.


Anyone? Please enlighten me.

I've also noticed that the Rear of Engine mount bears similar characteristics to the current front engine mount.

This is all so confusing.

 

 

You should just be able to go to the local parts store and have them order them for you. I would check out rockauto as well. They have never failed me.

 

LMAO!! @ what slomo circled, but for real though, like quickster said. They'll ask what year, model, engine size, etc to get you that mount and what not.
