Default For those with a b18c swap??

Who all on here has done it?

How do you feel about the stock intake?

Should I try to dump it prior to the swap or get everything working and then swap it?

Seems like skunk2 shows pretty respectable gains with their intake and cams but Im sure most brands would be comparable not much difference in them.

I will be tackling this swap very soon and curious if there are any unique problems to this motor as it does have a couple different features.

Might help to mention what B18c your talking about. B18c from a GSR or a B18c from an ITR? If its the GSR, that intake mani can make some alright power if you remove the butterflies but I would prefer run a Blox/Junk2 manifold instead.

I'z done it...

Never had the stock intake

These motors are tall, expect to beat up and replace a few oil pans if you "dump" it

I like my Skunk2 Gen1 IM, feel the gains (above 5K) and I still have yet to get a tune

Search and you shall find.... anything specific to a GSR swap into an EF has been covered, use the [u]SEARCH[/i] feature top right of this page.

Yes I mean gsr sorry! I thought I remember seeing you ran a gsr intake manifold?

I havent got as far as to mock anything but I dont know crap about the iab or how it activates so not sure if i should just do without it or ride till i sort out the initial bugs with a stock set up before introducing variables

Swap the intake down the road. Id focus on getting the swap all squared away and fixing any "bugs" you come across. Expect the unexpected. You might have some parts that are bad, but wont know till you start it fo the first time...
