best exhaust for all motor?
im loooking to get a 3 inch exhaust for my all motor set up because i have a 2 and a half apexi world sport 2 right now, with 2 and a half inch piping want to upgrade to 3 inch piping and exhaust for a better flow and some power increases...
what exhaust would you guys recomend? i want something that flows really good preferably a PAN then those canisters tho they're too loud lol
also something not too loud because this is my daily! lol
any help would be highly appreciated thank you in advance

You have to ask yourself this question:
Are you willing to sacrafice power for quietness or put up with noise for power? I have done that and decided to stick with my WS2. At the track I open it up anyways so have a quiet comfy ride around town is worth the power loss to me. If I was a street racer I might think otherwise.

Ws2 only comes in two sizes: 60mm and 80mm. The 60mil version is 2.36 inches and the 80mil is 3.15 inches. You can get a 3 inch piping kit from kteller with two 22" magnaflow resonators welded in and the 80mm ws2 muffler.

this is my same setup right here but i got my piping kit off of vrs

I would think 2.5 would be good. I'm in the same situation though, Running the Apexi WS2 on my Integra, when vtec engages it's a lot quiter, all you hear type R cam's screaming.. but i can feel a difference in power, it is restrictive.. I thought about having the resonator removed, but the muffler is still chambered anyway..

It has been proven that a 3 inch exhaust will out- perform smaller diameter piping (even on B16's, etc.).

VRS Exhaust is a good place to look for your tubing. Get a good muffler. IDK of any 3" Twin-Loops, but if you want to keep it quiet as possible, run 2 resonators.

plenty of "dyno" sheets as everyone wants to prove the 3'' is a better exhaust setup for most NA setups..
I have two customers "built" d series motors that we are running a 3'' exhaust on.. one is NA with nitrous, the other is a stout NA setup..
I do suggest for smaller motors like d series to start @ 2.5''..

i just bought a ef hatch today with a stock b16a today so im not sure what size the tubing is i think its 2.5 but it goes to a magnaflow and dont know about resonaters and it is quiet cruizing down the freeway from vancouver to salem and it is quiet till vtec hits then it screams

I have myself an ws2 running on 2 1/2 power is not a problem man if u go 3" there's not gonna b any bacc pressure n that can cause to loose torque so better off keeping it Im running a b20b vtec n still made 205hp with that set up...so reconsider

205, is not alot.. for a b20vtec..its actually on the real low side, and would put money you'd probably break 212-215 with a "real" 3'' vs your crappy ws2.

thanks for all the info. i was thinking of the vibrant, or maybe a magnaflow.
i feel as if my ws2 is restricting me, espically in top end if that makes sense. . . and with a 3 inch my motor would flow alott better, i have a stock bore itr with S2 valvetrain and S2 tuner 2 cams, tuned on e85 CTR pistons, RMF replica Header with 2.5 collector. . .
maybe a 3IN piping to my ws2 would make a difference in power? idk lol i doubt it tho, i really love the ws2 lol
been thinking about the Vibrant not sure what im going to do yet
