1992 honda accord flex plate ?
Heyy guys i need to get a mp1a tranny for my accord but i dont think it comes with a flex plate and i cant seem to find any but one for an accord will i be able to use that one with it it breaking? I was running an accord tranny with my h22a but the flex plate just broke into pices and i really dont want to waste any money... any help would be amazing

The flex plate, Honda calls them drive plates, are different depending on the torque converter. You will have to match the flexplate to your torque converter, they differ in diameters. The MPJA(Odyssey) I installed in the '95 EX used a larger diameter. You will need to pull the driveplate off the engine your replacement transmission came from.

Well that sucks. Can you measure the Torque Converters diameter? Where the drive plate bolts to the TC, that bolt ring. See if it is the same as your existing transmission. If its still in car, you can check by pulling the lower inspection cover, and measuring the height of the ring gear on the TC. The ring gear that the starter engages is the same diameter on all ATs, the differences will be from the ring gear to the TC housing itself. If they are the same you can reuse your drive plate.
