ok so basically my situation is this. currently my car is running a puny 2.5in apexi and i need to get it changed out to a 3in. i have a full 3in apexi for it off my old setup but its for an eg hatch and the current car is an ek coupe. i planned to reuse some of the piping but ditch the canister because of how low they sit and im sick of scraping on stuff. i was thinking of just running a straight 3in back right past the front seats and finding some type of race muffler to put on there to kill some of the noise as opposed to running open dp and dealing with smelling like exhuast all the time. does anyone have any ideas of a good small muffler to use? also would it be any quieter than running open dp?
