Default crank pulleys

Ok random question but I have a 88 crx hf that someone had swaped a d16a6 in. When I bought the car he gave me all these spare parts and in the pile there was a crank pulley. Now I just wanna no if it is possible if he had put the hf pulley on the d16 motor. The only reason I wanna no is I've heard of people putting wrong pulleys on and hurting the motor.

Default Re: crank pulleys

A crank pulley will not hurt your engine. Yes, even the billet pulleys without the rubber ring.
