I own a 1997 integra and I bought a 1998 ITR gauge cluster everything works except the gas meter does anybody know how to rewire it so that the gas meter works??

that wont work either.

you have to switch the motherboards.

 

Is that the only way the gas meter will work? and does the motherboard of the type r go with my 97 integra?

 

thats a tiiite cluster u got.....

 

i have a 97 gsr and i just put in a jdm itr cluster.
my fuel gauge would read full until i connected the seat belt, then the fuel would go down and the seat belt light would stay on all the time. all i had to do was cut a couple wires and wire it up correctly.

 

i had a similar prob with my 95 GSR when i hooked up a canadian cluster to it.. the gas would no work. which wires would u have to change ?

Try swaping the guage faces.
