Default Spoiler Holes!!

Any cost effective way to cover the hole from a spoiler?? I have a 00 Civic SI, and I bought it with a spoiler and I've decided to go clean and remove it.

Anything helps.

Buy very small fender hole plugs to cover them. You could go to a bodyshop and price hunt. I'd leave it to a body shop unless you're good like that.

if you wanna be ghetto/thrifty/nifty (however you want to look at it) i've heard of guys gluing a back plate from the inside of the panel, then covering the top with bondo... this way, the bondo has something to support it from behind. so it wont crack and fall out.

i wouldnt do it, but its an option

I will be welding my holes on my trunk lid then going to just prep it and paint it. Once the holes are welding you don't have to worry about any cracks.

That. Or replace the trunk lid. Anything else will cause problems down the road.

friend of mine had a srt4 and got a carbon trunk for it but it so happened that the holes for the wing were predrilled. so what he did was he sourced out some black push tabs(they use these to hold on certain interior body plastics) he put them on so that the flat side was on the outside and then on the inside he put some silicone to glue the thing in place but also to keep the water out. i know its not the best idea but the OP asked for the most cost effective way to plug the holes.

good idea. If you don't have a welder or lots of money this is probably the most cost effective. Pennies won't rust(I think) so slap those on from the back with something sticky like gorilla glue, then use some fiberglass filler over the top.
