Hey everyone,
have any of you made the K24 CRV motor into a K24/K20 Vtec? If so what did it produce on stock internals? Im debating on putting a K20 head on my K24 and am wondering if it is worth the possible $2500 to make this work... I feel like the K24 has less power than the K20 that was originally in my 02 honda hatch. What are your thoughts? FYI I bought the car with the swap already in...

 

My thoughts are that you have never tried searching for this information and you have a lot to learn... are you another one who wants to be spoon fed?

I'm a very helpful person but threads like this make me crazy no offense.


You have no idea what is involved in a k20/k24 frank or why you would even need to do it do you?


I'm going to ask serious questions nows:
1) What are your horsepower goals?
2) Are you staying N/A or going boost?
a) If N/A what compression?
b) If boost what compression?
c) Are you good at building engines?
d) Have you tried searching yet?

short answer: sell the CRV K24, buy a K24A2 TSX longblock
