struts and alignment

Default struts and alignment

05 type s. changed out stock suspension for a new OEM suspension and put tein s techs on them. got the car aligned as i was supposed to. now i have a couple different squeaks and noises so i need to get back under there and fix something.(new set up has been on for 2 weeks) my question is will i have to get another alignment if i take the struts back off and look at them?

not necessarily it depends on the work you are doing... but its always best too!

Toe will most likely change. Get it checked for sure after.

just use some string to double check. Tie it to the rear wheel and then pull it taught and rest it against the front tire. If it hits both sides of the front tire at the same time then you are good.

If it is off you can take it to get aligned, or just loosen the tie rod end and rotate it forward or back to make a slight adjustment. Best to do this when the front wheels are on sand/salt and a tile, so the wheel will move when you rotate the tie rod. If you dont have it on sand/salt and tile you can make an adjustment, roll the car back and forth, check the string, make any other adjustments.

Although this may be kind of jank, the slight adjustment that you would need to make is not worth 60$ and you will get it close enough.

thanks man, i might give it a try. paying for 2 alignments in 2 weeks is a bit excessive
