Doing a conversion on my 93 civic hatch cx.
Brakes are from my 98 gsr parts car.
list has:
rear rotors/pads/gsr ebrake cable/ bushings/ complete arm/ integra prop valve/ integra brake/mc - completed.
1. Wondering for brake line size. What is the best size to go with? and what vehicle model - ie integra, civic , de sol... would i use for lines.?
2. Would GSR ebrake cables be to long or to short?

2 door integra ebrake cable
i believe the stock brake lines will work. to test this go to your original prov valve and measure the fitting with a wrench mark it and try the fitting on the car you are getting your parts from. if they are the same. the stock lines will work.

I've too been doing a lot of research in preparation for my brake conversion on my eg. From what I've seen and heard, the old brake lines should be fine. And 2dr gsr ebrake cables will get the job done.

i was comparing prop valves from my 93 eg cx to a 96 integra prop valve i found at a scrap yard and seems there isn't much of a difference, if any. Why do i need to switch this out for an integra valve for? jw.

Also wondering if i was only upgrading the rear disks for now, do i need to change my prop valve still? and my brake booster?
i just bought a 15/16 m.c from a teg,
gsr rear trailing arms/ebrake cable (2dr)
Thanks.

Yes, you'll have to change the prop valve.
Make sure the prop valve is a 40/40 - Does the donor car have ABS?
If it doesn't then the prop valve is probably a 40/40.
You should be able to use the cx booster but there will be a lot of travel in the pedal.
The correct booster, iirc, should be stamped "290" on the top.

With the stock 9.5 front and rear disc. You'll be fine with the stock proportional valve and brake booster/cylinder.
You can't use parking cable and brake line from a drum setup.

Yeah I was looking around for that answer , I was just planning to swap on m rears for Gsr disks, and keep stock cx discs. But if my stock mc prop and brake booster will be fine until I upgrade my fronts,, saves me $
