p28 ecu on a 93 gsr teg?

will a P28 ecu work on a 93 original Gsr teg for temporary use? i think i got a bad ecu and i just wanted something for now to get the car running but i only have a spare good P28 ecu for now.
93's should be OBD1, so you won't need a conversion harness. You're better off getting the P28 chipped and reflashing the B17 basemap on it to make it run correctly. P28 fuel maps may cause damage to your motor since it's for a completely different engine.
