just bought the car after selling my Delsol project of 6+ years =/ but this is my first "cable shifter" and ive noticed it likes to slip from third to second instead of fourth a little too easily... anyone know how to avoid this sure to be disaster lol??? Cable adjustment or short shifter?

 

Sounds like operator error to me. I've never had that problem.



You could always inspect the shifter base to make sure the spring is still intact.
