**Complete D16Y8 Swap for sale**
I do have a reputation to uphold on this forum. I went driving on the motor today and encountered a sudden issue with the oil light flickering when the motor is full of oil from a fresh oil change. Although the motor still feels great and pulls hard I would never sell a motor to anyone on here without getting to the basis of the issue at hand. I'm happy this issue came up before the motor was sold. Thanks to all those who inquired about the motor and it's parts. Unfortunately this ad will be removed indefinitely.
I will be posting an "AS-IS" ad on craigslist for anyone who wants to buy as is. Meanwhile I will be troubleshooting the idle and oil light issue.
Thank you for yall's time.
My Regards
Anthony

After spending countless hours of researching and asking around I've come to the final conclusion that the oil pump is what's causing the oil light to flicker. Mind you the light hasn't flickered since about two Sundays ago. On this particular day i drove the 210 freeway (uphill) in 4th gear up to 5k rpm's I absolutely never in any case go past 4k rpm in any gear. I've blown motors long ago and i get nervous going pass the 4k mark. So this night I was at 5k rpm for about 3 miles til the lake exit and that's the only thing i've done different and the result of that was the oil flickering light. I've driven this motor for months and hadnt seen it til two weeks ago. Two weeks later and i still haven't seen, I also haven't been past 4k rpm in 4th gear recently.
With that said, I'll re-post the add including that incident and let the buyer know it's for sale as is. I'm still guaranteeing you a great motor nonetheless.

Pulling this motor from my car (1998 Honda Civic Ex)
The motor has a slight idle. I believe it just needs spark plugs and or distributor cap and rotor along with a new oil pump.
Motor runs great. After about 20 minutes of driving on the freeway at high speeds the car idles a bit lower then normal when the car comes to a complete stop.
I've been driving this motor for a while now and I'm going to be swapping in a motor with a bit more power to UP the resell value on my car. This motors been great for getting me to school and to work and everywhere else i drove. The motor pulls strong and would be a great replacement for anyone wanting to replace a knocking motor or a blown motor.
Complete Motor comes with:
Intake Manifold (1998)
Transmission (1998)
Distributor
Alternator
Vtec Solenoid
Oil Pressure Switch
All Sensors

New Flywheel
New Rear Main Seal
