Ok I have been reading a lot about intakes. I know the D17 doesn't respond well to bolt ons. My question is does an intake actually help increase mpg if so would short ram air or cold air do more or would it actually decrease the mpg.

 

No. Even if it did, the gains wouldn't offset the cost.

 

it's more for looks and noise. It's one of those mods where u know its there but won't do much
