How should you check the automatic trans fluid. Some say with it off and some say in neutral with it running. would like to make sure i do it right so i know i have the right reading incase i dont add to much or dont add any when its actually low. any help would be nice.

 

check it with the car off, but check it within a minute or so of shutting off the car.

 

Also be sure the car is parked on level ground.

checked it just now and its above full a lil bit but im gunna drive it to school and c what it says then.

 

Engage the shift selector thru all gears while parked with it foot on the brake, yea make sure ur own flat ground and with the engine off check the dipstick.
