Leveling car on uneven driveway for fluid checks
My driveway is sloped and I'm always paranoid about getting the car level before checking/replacing fluids (tranny, oil).
What reference point on the car should I use for leveling it with a bubble level?
Car is a Del Sol btw

Re: Leveling car on uneven driveway for fluid checks
Thanks yeah I ended up just doin that instead of being too lazy to move the car, haha.
Question though, when I unbolted the fill hole in order to stick my finger in and check, fluid GUSHED out, like maybe a quart or so.
Is it possible the previous owner of the car filled the tranny using the vent tube on top? It's this little metal tube with a rubber cap on it, with an arrow. I don't see how it could've been so overfilled! UNLESS I did something terribly, newbishly wrong.
