Unusual Rear Brake Pad Wear, Pictures, why?
I found this on my stock rear inner brake pads today when I went ot put on pads for the track:

What is wrong? Did I do the install wrong? Please help!

Maybe the "bump" on the pad was sitting on the high part of the piston instead of in one of the slots.
Go look at the rear piston and you'll see what I'm talking about. It would make the pad have uneven pressure, wearing down one side much faster.
But it is kind of hard to see what condition they are in.

...only other times I've seen wear like that on the rear pads was if the pin in the pad wasn't aligned with the groove of the caliper piston. The pad wears just like that because it's cocked against the rotor at an angle.
In fact, you should have noticed the calipers hanging up from that - the rear calipers will drag big time when you don't have the pad lined up properly.

Hmm, I will have to make sure they are in there correctly when I put them back in after my track event.
What pins exactly are you guys talking about? Can someone post a picture or do a quick drawing?
Thanks
