post your B-series oem piston HP
I'm looking to find what I can safely put down on oem pistons with the help of eagle rods. I can't find any specs on hondas cast aluminum pistons. I'm hoping to make 300-400 WHP with a good tuner. What are some of you guys running? An the duration you've been running them!
i bealive you cant run stock pistons on aftermarket rods because the stock wrist pins are a press fit and after market have c clips. and if your going to replace the rods which means you have to do bearings why not get nice pistons?

unknown miles LS block, didnt smoke or anything, ran great,sc60, made 270 for 6-8 months before the ringlands started to give out. Started spitting oil out the exhaust one night, pulled it apart, chunks missing out of the ringlands. Beat on that car every weekend the whole time.
Oh yea I knew that just forgot. Tanks

X2! you can get used pistons and rods for $400. I do know that Honda Tuning did a tech article on a b16 with aftermarket pistons on stock rods and it made good power. Sadly no longevity test though.
