Icon2 LSv type r help

hey ht i posted a make of this in BamBams reliable Lsv/b20 build forum but it looks like he hasnt been on for awhile and i need some info as soon as possible

okay so heres my cousin opened up his type r to build it and he has everythin from it and we working out prices

i know that usen used pistons is a no on a freshly honed cyclinder .. but how about the rods? And if I use them shuld I get them shortpeened as if they were the LS rods?

Also what should I use for my head im planin on running a b16 head so shuld I go with his retainers and springs and cams? Or should I go with aftermarket cams? I want reliable power in the 220s + on a good tune ( im applying more things in the build to help provide this power like im, adj cam gears, hytech header ect ect ) , can you help me out please

220whp on Type R cams? Not gonna happen. I suppose it might be possible with some good head work and a really good IM/ITB setup, but I wouldn't count on it. Shot peening the rods shouldn't be needed.
