Seat Question please help..
okay, here is my story.
im driving a 91 crx si.
it curently has 93(?) civic seats in it.
there also the same 93 civic seat rails..
the seats sit waaayyyy to high.
i just got 91(i think) rails that came out of a crx dx.
im just wondering how will i go about doing this??
is it just plug and play, or is there any mods im going to have to do to go about doing this..
is it possible to use dx rails in a si?
i ask this because i use to have a 88 hf, and the rails were way off.. but im thinking that was because of the age differences.
any advice, or instructions would be BIG TIME appreciated.
thanks guys!

idk man, good luck
I did a pan swap and put 93 ls seats in my 89 hatch, I know that 88 89 have different rail set up then the 90 and 91

88-89 rails fit their same year range, same goes for 90-91.
to be honest im not 100% sure of the 88, I know there were a lot of differences between those years dunno if that was one of them.

No the rails are completely different. You should be able to use the 90-91 crx DX seat in your SI. If for what ever reason you want to keep the GOD AWFUL UGLY 93' seats you can make them work by doing a complete seat pan swap with the crx pan and 93' lower foam and complete upper.

jdmboyef9 has it right.. I have been through this hell the hard way with some EG seats. swapping the EG seats in requires BOTH the ef seat pan and ef seat upper portion. its not simply swapping the pans, because the EG seat back mounting does not work with the EF pan.
also, swapping the rails will not work as the mounting locations for the eg vs EF pans are vastly different and incompatible, without a welder.
good luck
