So I bought a 95 civic a few months back, and thought that all I need with the a/c belt to get the system up and running, man was I wrong. It seems like the seller just shoved the system back into the car, and said it would work of course. So once with the new belt on, I got no cold air, so I thought I would try a recharge kit, no luck with that either as the coolant was leaking out from old o-rings. So I got fed up and pulled the whole system out up to the firewall. I want to know if anyone has an tricks on increasing the outside air flow. To try to keep the car somewhat cooler.
You have to use the 2-80 air system. 2 windows down at 80 mph!!!! No seriously though, I have never seen or heard of anything for what you are asking for. Post up if you find something however....
mini fan for your dash or windows down like said. If you've still got the A/C parts you could install them back into the car, the orings and seals are pretty cheap.

ROFL, we have that poster up on our wall at the shop, the caption on the bottom, missing on your link, is "THERE FIXED"...

OP, you could increase airflow a little by removing the evaporator, you said you removed everything up to the firewall, so the evap. is still in place.
But the proper way, and only way to get "cold" air is to reinstall the A/C system, however, if you used a "refill kit" like Red Tek or Duracool You have contaminated the system with hydrocarbons and most likely sealers, no A/C shop will work on the system now, you would have to replace everything, unless you can find a shop with contaminated gauges and a contaminated vacuum pump.
You would still have to flush all the lines and components, replace the filter/dryer, [you should do that anyway] replace all O rings and seals, install the correct amount of A/C oil, [Ester oil] have the system pressure checked, [200PSI nitrogen for at least 1 hr, then have system evacuated for 45 min. to 1 hr and then recharged with R134a refrigerant.
Unless you replace everything, the system will still be contaminated with HCs, the sealants will be gone, but an identifier will still pick up the HC and as mentioned if the shop does not have contaminated equipment they can use, no percentage of HC is acceptable. 94

What is the use for the car? Is it a daily driver, or race car?
I,m looking into a cool suit for my race car. I,m thinking of installing the system into the seats. Also thinking about using a front mounted cooler instead of ice.
