Bonds '89 4 door whore
Well I stumbled across this vehicle on a local civic site. It was so clean and at a price I just couldn't pass up. So fast track a week later and it's in my driveway.
I bought it off the original owner. It's a LX with power windows, locks, and mirrors. It's a 5spd with 208,xxxkm on the body and motor/trans. The owner was a fellow automotive technician, so all work is up to date. He included all the receipts for the last 22 years. Brand new Honda headlights, dizzy, RTA bushings, front mud flaps, mats, etc. I could probably go on for a long time, but I won't haha.
On to the pics!

First mods will be suspension. These 208,xxxkm shocks and springs aren't doing so good anymore. The ride is very bouncy.
Things ordered so far are:
-Koni Yellow Sports (front and rear)
-GC coilover sleeves with custom rates (400front/350rear)
-GC extended top hats (for fronts)
I'm thinking about getting a decent rear sway bar to help out with the new setup. Not sure what to get though. Also anyone want to chime in if rear LCA's are worth the buy? I realize it's almost all cosmetic, but who sells the best ones?
Thanks for looking and feel free to drop some suggestions if you want to.

the blox LCA's are really good and very affordable.
the afterrmarket LCA actually help compinsate for the lowering of the car.
to my understanding, it helps keep the alignment of the rears balanced to the front.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I wasn't expecting this amount of people interested.
I really did luck out. I'm planning on keeping it very simple and clean. No major mods.
Thanks for the feedback on lca choices. I'll keep this updated as best as I can while parts come in.
Again much appreciated on the attention this car is getting. I just waxed it yesterday

Just love seeing an older vehicle kept in prestine condition, Beatiful car! Looks like it was repainted? Those seats look super minty clean for 20 year old car! Can't say I've seen a cleaner interior! Awesome find! Have u heard of Function n Form or Ksports?

The paint is original paint. It's glazed and waxed just before the pictures. The vehicle was always in a garage at his home and work. The paint is in very good shape.
I have heard of ksports and FF, but never ran them. Any good?. I've ran the koni yellows on 2 other setups and loved them. I think they perform very well for the price. I've never ran GC coilover springs so that part will be new.
