Default RHD Wiring question

I am in the process of going RHD on my 2000 model teg. My question is this, I am currently removing everything and noticed that the JDM RHD type r front clip has no wires going to the back of the car on the passenger side (USDM Driver side) and on my USDM shell there are wires that run up the side that has a big orange plug on it, does anyone know what I do with these wires? I am assuming they are for the ABS system because the plug is orange. Thanks!

You guess seems logical - the color indicates safety equipment and that's one of the few things back there that would qualify! (Did the 2000 model year have airbags there?)

Nah, it didnt, I am confused on where I have to wire the plug into the dash, I am trying to find people who have done the conversion but that seems impossible lol

I had some of the JDM .vs. USDM fun recently, though limited to the engine harness for my swap.

Recommend the factory electrical troubleshooting manual, which has full wiring diagrams.

That may answer a lot of your questions?

Good luck

I use the "1996 Integra Electrical Troubleshooting Manual", P/N 61ST702EL.

You can find one here:

http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2...2EL&itemtype=N

I found that when working with the JDM engine harness (it was a 96-97 ITR) the color codes and pinouts matched on all the common components. The exceptions are where the JDM engine didn't share the components.

For example, the JDM had no CKF, no EVAP purge , no VTEC oil pressure switch (just the solenoid), and since it wasn't a GSR no IAB.

So in my experience, it's very useful and relevant and the exceptions are what you'd expect - and manageable.
