fuel pump connections bad!!!
ive had the same problem for over a month now, my 1992 integra ls 5speed wont prime the fuel pump sometimes. i know i have a bad connection somewhere because my fuel pump, relay and fuel filter are all new and have been tested. My ecu is good too. sometimes when i wiggled some wires under the dash by the main relay the check engine light would turn off. (light is on when fuel pump isnt priming) can anyone tell me where the ground for the relay is? or what connections i should be looking for, like a bad pwer or ground connection? oh and main relay clicks unless check engine light is on, when its on the 3rd click seems absent. im guessing lack of power?
The first and second "click" from PGM-FI Main Relay, [fuel injection relay and fuel pump relays turning on] are so close together that it is very hard to to tell they are not just one "click" the 3rd "click" would be the fuel pump relay turning off after priming.
I would start by testing the yellow/black leads at the PGM-FI Main Relay, one of them is the injector relays output and should stay hot as long as ign. is on, the other is the fuel pump relays output, it will stay hot for a few sec. when ign. switch is turned on.
The black lead is the ground, [may be two black leads in same pin], test for continuity to chassis ground.
The black/yellow lead injector relay control and fuel pump power, fuse 24-15A, [hot in run and start] in under dash fuse box.
The yellow/white is fuel injector relays main power, fuse 38-10A, [hot at all times] in engine bay fuse box.
The blue/white is "backup" power for fuel pump relay control, fuse 18-7.5A, [hot in start only] in under dash fuse box.
The green/black is fuel pump relay control from ECU/ECM, it is a ground, will test as ground for a few sec. when ign. key is turned to run.
I would drop the PGM-FI Main Relay so you can probe the leads with the relay still plugged in. 94

it seems that im not getting power to the black/yellow or the blue/white and both are the power to the pump, the rest of the connections are giving out current.... i was wondering if a p75 from a 95 dc integra ls 5 speed would work on my da 92 ls 5speed? i found one for cheap so i was wondering if that would work so i can test out the ecu and rule it out
