Default Civic 95, Fuel pump/main relay/g101 issue

hello from Norway

I have the usual civic problem with the fuel pump that wont prime whe i turn the ignition on, and i hope maybe one of you guys can help me solve the problem.

first the car: its a 1995 civic coupe ej2, with a B16a2 swappet engine.
the car was convertet 7 years ago so it has worked fine for years.
i bought the car september last year, and previous owner tells me he had this problem some times, but starts right up on the second go. the trip home went fine, startet like should several times.
but afterwards i've almost only had it to work one time a day, start, cruise, and back to garage, or it could take hours before it worked again, and some time's it was just one, started off normally, even with a warm/normal engine temp.
i've stored the car for the winter and started it up 1 time every month, without particulary problems. but for the end of february month the fuel pump wouldnt prime. tried to push, or tap fuse box or relay, that has worked before, but not this time.

so stats for today is that..:

*i've replaced the main relay.
*locatet g101 ground, took it of, cleaned, and back on.
*used a testlamp (not sure what' the word for it in english, but one of these: http://bilder.torshovbil.no/katalogb...35/1730235.png ).
tested the relay with that, status for that was:
ignition off: nr. 1 lights.
igniton on: nr. 1,3,5 lights up, nr.8 makes the fuel pump sound and lights halfway up.
try starting the car with testlamp on nr. 8: and then its lights up more.
so i guess that mean that the relay is fine or what?

i've tried testlamping the g101, but couldn't make out light in that with the ignition on.

*will add to the end that i've read a lot about this problem, and been asking the same on the norwegian honda forum.
i'am not a mecanic myself, but have a it of experience. i also have a cousin that can help me if necessary.

I've had this problem with a 93 del sol with a D16Z6 auto.
Always checked the main relay and the G101 ground.
Once it was the G101 ground.
Three other times it was the fuel pump ( in one year timeframe).
May at one time been the electrical plug to the fuel pump.
I used a Autozone (store in the states) Aerotex brand pump.
Each time it was replaced free by the store under warranty.
Don't know if it was the quality of the pump or the effect of ethanol gasoline.
Someday I may try a walbro or some other brand.
Mechanics I know say the quality and workmanship on pumps is bad.
