Default new gasket...adjustable cam gears

I just installed a blitz 3mm headgasket in my B16. I also bought some adjustable cam gears to make up for the different height. Where should I start off my gears? What setting? intake+2 exhaust-2 maybe?

each car is different on the cam timing, so you'll have to experiemnt for yourself, but installing a thicker headgasket will retard the cam timing.

3mm? That sounds like one thick gasket! Why?
