Default EF Seat interchangeability thread

Let’s talk interchangeability:
I found plenty of information on doing a seat pan swap but very little information on what will bolt in with little to none modification. After some frustration in shopping for seats that will (almost) bolt directly in, I‘m left with the question: Are there ANY seats from another model/year that will fit?

Rules are / I’m searching for:
1. No aftermarket seats
2. ANY OEM seat (Think outside the box – RX7, Camaro, Z car, etcetera, etcetera)
3. No seat pan swap unless fabric stays intact (Back of seat “A” bolts to bottom of seat ”B”)
4. Modifications may include but not limited to elongating the holes, bending legs, cutting the legs and adding new holes, shifting the sliders to one side, putting the right seat in the left side and vice versa.
5. Safety is paramount.

All your creative inputs are welcome, Thanks!

As far as I remember when I had my EF hatch (it's bin a while) 4dr seats wudn't bolt straight in and I don't think CRX seats would either

4dr, hb, crx, wagon are all different. Also in those groups they are different from 88-89, 90-91. Seat pan swaps are very simple and will allow you to swap any 88-91 civic/crx into and model.

All good inputs. But, what about from the EG's, EK's, EJ's, DA's, DB's and DC's? Something has to be close.

Bolting up wise no. Some have tried but only manage to get one bolt in an part way strip another. Seat fits super loose but acts as one hell of an ejection seat in a crash.

On the bright side if you ever crash with that setup and your car blows up, it will blow you to safety lmfao
