I was planning to get rid of this car before i went to basic. But i cant go cuz i have a bum knee.


Car was bought 4 years ago from my brother, whom got it from my grandfather. He bought it brand new in 96. Rebuilt title, it had a fender bender. Insurence company totalled it for some reason. Doesnt effect the fitment of the front end. 5 speed swap was done in July of 2010. Car is a great dd. I drive it back and forth from Huntsville, Ala to Clarksville, TN atleast twice a month, never any issues. Smokers car. :/ I love this car. It is my dd and it hasnt given me many problems. Nothing that couldnt be simply fixed. No CELs. Does not burn, or use oil. Nothing with this car was done half assed. I am an ASE certified mechanic. Car has aprox. 165k miles on it. Auto cluster reads around 242k. Cluster was replaced with a different one a few years ago.


Good:
Aprox. 45,XXX miles on fully rebuilt motor. D16y8( ALL internals were replaced when it spun a rode bearing back in December of 09.)
5 speed swap with brand new OEM clutch. (10,000 miles. )
Fresh oil change.
All seals/ gaskets were replaced when I rebuilt the motor. (OEM)
All new motor mounts. (OEM)
Fresh Tans fluid. (Honda OEM)
New timing belt, tensioner, water pump. (OEM 6k miles)
New rear wheel bearings. (OEM 2k miles)
New front and rear brakes. (2k miles)
B&M Dual bend short throw shifter.
Password JDM Shift ****.
No name exhaust or intake.
Fresh tune up. ( 500 miles)
E3 plugs and autolite wires.
New tailights.
New brake master cylinder. (OEM)
New Gas pedal and gas/brake pedal bracket. (OEM)
Has a fairly new Pioneer Cd player.
New front bumper. Bare. Never painted. Decent fitment. (ebay)
Had 10k HIDs but one blue so now it has one 10k, and one 8k.
2000 Front end. (All OEM minus the front bumper)
Im sure there is more, if i can think of them ill let you know.


Bad:
Has 3 different tires. (all same size.)
One tire will need to be replaced due to camber wear. (tire was flipped so the good tread was on the inside)
Needs some body work.
Rear bumper need to be replaced. Previous owner cut around the muffler slot.
Ebay adjustable coilovers. ( If you raise it up the ride isnt that bumpy)
Slight grind going into 2nd. ( Only at high RPMs)
Crack in windshield.
Needs D/S outer tie rod end.
Does leak a little oil cuz the rear mail seal is busted. Leaks less than a 1/4 of a quart between oil changes.

TTT. Forgot to put up there it has a semi new radiator, replaced last year. And its about to have new windsheild wipers.
