Default **OBD0/2 Alternator Question**

I did some searching but really couldnt find the answer i was looking for. I have an 91 EF with b16 obd0. Alternator Died. My Question is can i use a friends good obd2 alternator and just switch the female part inside the alternator that the plug from the harness goes into???

I know obd2 plug is square and obd0/1 are round. just want to know it this can be done as an alternative to hackin the plug off my harness and swapping it.

If possible, does the pully have to be swapped over aswell.

you could certainly do that.. I think it would be a hell of a lot of work though.. I would say the pulley probably is the same size, but i wouldn't worry about that so much.
