Okay i have a 97 civic hb cx with a 98 gsr swap. i have the CEL on with it saying my evap sensor. i was told it was my charcoal canister which was never changed and could it be that? i've changed the evap sensor numerous times by borrowing others and the CEL still comes on.

 

definatly a possibility for an evap code. a purge valve or a solenoid will set that code too sometimes.

 

Okay so yea my charcoal canister has not been switched or changed since the swap. So which charcoal canister should i be looking for?i looked at the 99 Si and the return line that goes back to the gas tank is huge compared to mine that is on the car..
