Icon2 exhaust opinions?

Whats up guys, pretty much i need a new muffler this year, theres no way around it..

i have 2.25" exhaust system 400CFM cat and a resonator.

im debating on either the

Apexi WS2 Muffler
or the
Vibrant Stealth Performance Muffler

i was told that the Apexi WS2 Muffler alone is a bit louder than the full exhaust system itself..

any one have any of these mufflers? and would like to share some input on them ? or suggestions?

thanks boys!

Jeez! Do a search. This question is ultra subjective. One man's whisper is another man's shout. This is the other question that gets asked once a week. Go to Youtube and listen to some clips.

I have a very similar setup.

I ran WS2 exhaust with Vibrant high flow cat (metal core) and Vibrant 2.5" Stealth muffler (straight through) for a couple of months. The noise (especially drone) were unbearable.

Note: this is the setup I started with, I never had the WS2 muffler on the car (kept it in the garage just in case and I am glad I did).

About two weeks ago I finally got the original WS2 muffler back in place of the Vibrant Stealth. Noise was reduced drastically, drone almost disappeared.

Did the Vibrant Stealth sound like crap? Not at all. It sounded great, nice deep, throaty sound. But it was too loud for my taste and the drone was insane. Since I have a CX hatchback (no sound deadening) and do a LOT of highway driving, I had to switch to something more bearable.

Let me know if you have more specific questions.

its up to you. the ws2 can pry be used by itself.
but the vibrant streetpower stealth being a straight through you'll want at least one resonator in your piping.
