Default Specs of DC sports header (mainly the primaries)

does anyone know the exact ID of the primaries and secondaries of the DC sports header? I'm trying to compare it to the specs that greddy sent me for theirs. thanks.

(PS - I know the collector on both is small)

Here are some measurements from a PO.com member (SK Honda 7). If you add the Greddy measurements to it... I'll add the Mugen.

-the measurements were taken from top all the way down to the cat-

--------------DC CC---------------------OEM 2001 5gen---------------
opening by the block:
------------46mm x 32mm -------------41mm x 32mm----------------

bottom opening of the upper portion (notice this portion is round):
---------------41mm--------------------------42mm-----------------

Opening on the down pipe(notice this portion is round):
---------------41mm---------------------------45mm-----------------

Opening at the end of down pipe by cat. (this is round as well):
---------------47mm---------------------------48mm-----------------

here is the email I got from greddy:

Thanks for your interest in GReddy Products
For the Prelude the 4 primaries are 42.7mm then collect to 45mm and then to 50.8mm
Please keep in touch with your favorite Authorized Greddy dealer for more updates. http://greddy.com/dealers/

OK...here it is. I can only stand behind the Mugen figures because its sitting here next to me. The DC and OEM came from another PO member and s/b reliable. The Greddy figures should be verified by someone. All in all, I think its an interesting comparison.

Mugen-------------------------DC CC----------------------OEM 2001 5gen

opening by the block:
46mm x 36mm---------------46mm x 32mm ------------41mm x 32mm

bottom opening of the upper portion (notice this portion is round):
46mm----------------------------41mm---------------------42mm

Opening on the down pipe(notice this portion is round):
46mm----------------------------41mm---------------------45mm

Opening at the end of down pipe by cat. (this is round as well):
57mm----------------------------47mm---------------------48mm

{Edit: I took out the Greddy numbers in the above comparison...see my post below for why}

Tubing is measured by the OD not the ID.

The DC has 1-5/8" (41.3mm) primaries and 1-3/4" (44.5mm) secondaries. This is what DC uses for the majority of their Honda/Acura headers. I believe they use 16g material which is .065", so subtract .13 from the numbers above for the IDs.

Keep in mind that the numbers in the above comparison are measurements of the "openings" and not the actual size of the tubing. The "Mugen" numbers above are ID...I took the measurements myself. I assumed that the DC and OEM numbers were also ID because these were not specs from the manufacturer, but measurements taken from a fellow Prelude owner in a visual (hands on)comparison of the openings.

That said...adding Greddy into this comparison was not accurate, so I'm taking it out of my posts.

JDM Lude: go with the specs SMSP posted as a comparison to Greddy.

For a rough estimate, go by the OD. (I know... ID is what you want)

Take a piece of string and measure the perimeter of the tube.
Take that reading and apply it to the equation 2(pie)r = Perimeter to get your
radius. Double your radius and you got your diameter.
