HELP!!! clutch fork not working right
Just about finishing up my swap but as i tried putting the slave cylinder the fork stops half way and won't go all the way back. So putting on the slave cylinder didn't work since there wasn't enough space. someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!
sounds like the pivot point came off in the trans. Does the fork seem to have the correct length coming out of the trans? Does the fork pivot back and forth smoothly, but just not return to the stop position? Try moving the fork around by hand and see if it feels like it is attached correctly. I had this happen once on a wrx, I was able to hook a vice grip on the fork then "pop" it back up with a pry bar. Don't know if this will be able to work for you or not. It sounds like you will have to pull the trans back out.
