[cliffs notes: h23a overheating, don't know what is it replaced spark plugs and rad. hoses to no avail. help me]
I have a 92 prelude si with ihe pullies ACT XTSS cm flywheel and other bolt ons. I've noticed the temperature running a little hot. I can't tell exactly how hot, its just one electrical "bar" hotter (4th gen prelude). When it heats up a little bit i can turn on my heater and usually it goes down but still is hotter than usual (the fans turn on after i park the car which would only do that in the middle of summer in AZ). I've replaced radiator hoses believing a slow leak caused it, replaced coolant of course, and spark plugs. nothing worked. I think now the problem is either a thermostat (i've never experienced a broken thermostat so i wouldn't know what to look for) or a water pump. Can anybody help me out here? I was thinking about taking it to a mechanic to get a diagnosis but my brake master cylinder is almost dead too (i have little or no brake pressure left). can somebody please help me out?

Get a new radiator cap & make sure that your fluid is full. If that doesn't work, then do the thermostat & check the coolant temp sensor. Those are all cheap in cost & easy to do. It's more likely to be one of those than the water pump.
