Default questions on 93 civic eg with b18 swap from 92 integra

First off, Im new here and looking forward to learning more about my civic. I recently got this civic from a guy. It Idles rough for the warm up, And when the car idles down upon warm up, it revs up and down, going from approx 1500 rpms to qbout 500-ish.. And I do know the car burns oil. I just checked my spark plugs and there was remnance of oil on em. They are deffinitely burning oil. Car doesnt really smoke bad, just a puff on certain cylinder(S). But my main concern is making it run correctly without the rev.. I have no thrown codes, But my first thought is iacv. When I drive it, It drives great, Minus the stumble in the firing cause of the oily plugs...although the new plugs helped in the rough idleing a little bit...I am fixing to pull the cyl head off and change the head gasket. Anyone know what the reving could be from and any insight on any other prob I should look for on the oil leak/burn problem? Thanx for all your help.. Daniel

clean your IACV for sure

and delete the FICV with a homemaid plate

replace the gaskets under the valve cover around the spark plug tubes.

do a compression test.

clean the node thingys on the bottom of the dizzy cap.

good luck.

ronjoht has alot of info in his sig

fast idle control valve.
under the throttlbody.
delete it with a homemaid plate and rtv glue
and then bypass the hose from the block to the head/manifold

ya dizzy aka distributer. take it off and clean the corrosion on the diods.
farely cheap you can always get a new cap for $12 for autozone and a new rotor(which is inside the dizzy under the cap) for like $10
