Eeek. So hey every1 this is my 1st thread on honda-tech and the question im having is... WHy is my 1991 honda civic running like pooo.... It has been swaped 2 mpfi i had a d15b1 now has. D15b1 block,D15b7 head intake mani and fuel injection system. D16a6 dizzy and ecu... Ok so it was pretty quick up until last week, It started getting harder and harder 2 start and now when it starts it act's like a mis-fire. but it has alot of fuel smell coming from exhaust. and runs but only barley, So.. here's what iv done. COIL.. New wires. 10.2mm wires new. and they were on there b4 it started acting this way, Has new plugs gapd right, timing looks dead on, has obd1 injection hooked up to an integra old school Twinkie box. How it works with this set up.. I have no clue but it does, And well idk im at my wit's end. Iv been messing with this car for 2 months and i dont wanna get rid of it cuz its spiffy but. Im THIS CLOSE 2 Selling her. Did the swap right and the biggest part that gets me is... NO CEL the computer flashing no codes. HELP PLEASE if you need to know anything else about the swap and mods let me know

If you swapped all those things, and it seems like its misfiring, with the smell of fuel in the tail pipe the only thing I could think of is the dizzy.

 

Oh i went out just now and swappd the wire's around the firing order is what it was. Guess i have another problem now.. I took radiator cap off and alot of compression coming thru it and smells like gas in the anti-freeze.. New head gasket, Maybe just needs re-torqued down? Idk i didnt re-tq it at 100 miles. I hurd your suppost to. But my car needs new rings, Also blue smoke from the oil, But its starting 2 get water in the oil so im screwd. Know any1 selling a d16a6 block with everything in it? I need something i can slap in without tearing it all down and doing rings and bearings. I know how to just choose not 2 cuz i need something now and that stuff costs money 2 rent a cherry picker and stuff so yea... But thanks soo much for the reply. I just bought a new coil and cap rotor and dizzy is new 2 so i guess im just gonna find a new block..

 

Double check the sparkplug wires to see if they are in their right places this may cause the motor to run incorrectly. hope this helps

But i think its my headgasket... I just replaced it 100miles ago i think im gonna find a d16a6 block and put my head on it. If you know any1 who has 1 for sale let me know please! :D
