ok i got this pic off one of the other threads so its not the car im working on.but i need to know if there can be a coolant leak from the the rubber area between the two little copper ends of wat i have been told is the heater core

 

very hard to have a coolant leak there unless the the lines/fittings are damaged.

 

good except i cant get one of the stupid hoses off

 

just gotta be careful when removing them. there torque down pretty good.

I dont know where you live, but if you have access to a junkyard in your town grab another line just in case. From the looks and questions of it, sounds like your doing a full build or tearing the engine bay for paint.
