Default bored and stroked?

so i was outside on my porch grilling up some dinner. some guy drives by in a jeep and asks me where i got my bike. i tell him, and he said that was his buddy's bike a few years ago. he also told me that his buddy had it bored and stroked and that he also crashed it and hurt himself so thats why he sold it.

question is, what are the chances that this bike is bored and stroked? i dont think it is, but then again ive never ridden any other sport bikes so i couldnt tell you how it feels. it used to belong to a younger guy. i doubt it is modified, he was probably just BSing, but its got me wondering. is there any way to confirm this other than pulling the head off?

edit: i know this is a dumb question.

I say BS... if the carbs are not modified or swapped out for none CV units, what would be the point of doing all that other work of major engine modifications.

I would say, if it doesn't break, it doesn't matter, just have fun and ride.
