Icon2 Sticky/non-disengaging clutch and grinding while in gear

Recently I noticed a couple of symptoms in my del Sol VTEC (b16a3). The clutch pedal movement no longer has a smooth/consistent feel. Also, under moderate/heavy acceleration, the clutch will not disengage when the pedal is pushed to the floor.

Along with the clutch problems, I hear a soft grinding noise coming from the transmission while the car is 1)in motion, 2) clutch is pressed/disengaged and 3) the stick is in a gear.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I had something similar happen to a customers car.

Pulled it apart and found the flywheel bolts had backed out and were rubbing the clutch disk...
Best way to find out would be drop the transmission and pull the clutch.

Before that try changing the transmission oil.

Why would I only hear the grinding when the gear selector is in a gear though?
