Washer behind axle nut ?
Is this washer supposed to be behind my axle nut ?

Changed my front axle in a hurry sometime ago, didn't really torque the axle nut properly and my wheel bearing is bust now(yeah, good job) Just wondering if this washer that I found today is supposed to be behind the axle nut ? Didn't really fit in the notch on the axle end :S
this is an ek4 b16 sedan btw
